Excellent entry for the Romance Story writing prompt contest.

I love the century old romantic story of ladies and lord's. Great imagery...I could almost see them in their medieval noble lady and lord. Good imagery.

This is a delightful Victorian type piece. This was the time when courtship was so formal and titled fathers were anxious to see to it that their daughter found suitable husbands. The ladies were just has anxious to wed as well and quickly before they became a spinster.

You've caught the flavour of the period very well in your story - an era of elegance and manners. I think Papa should start thinking about preparing Willow Manor for a Spring wedding. Your story is gently romantic - no one got killed by a bear thank goodness.
