I hope this is only scene one in the play and there will be more to come. The father-in-law wants Hosea dead because he daughter and grandchildren died. We don't know who pulled Hose out. Hosea at least tried to save his family. Nicely written.

I'm afraid I'm no expert on script writing, but I can't find anything wrong. I'd like to read further and find out who pulled Hosea out. You have a great idea here.
