Hello author, your poem is very timely. The bravery, loyalty, and love of country that you dad felt is from a generation that no longer exists. Your poem reads and flows well, and I could feel the love that you have for your father. Of special note:
But always said freedom was well worth the price.
(Sadly, I don't know if the young men and women of today feel the same way. They don't even want to pledge our Flag.
They are a generation that your father would/could never understand...and neither do I.)

Thank you for your review. I agree that my dad would probably not understand some of the views of young people today. It?s sad that patriotism seems to be lacking.
