Who knows where love may blossom- a wonderful lighthearted approach to the theme reminding us that love has its own plan - these days it often seems like love and its inception has to be surrounded by 'big moments' whereas love often whispers rather than shouts at us ! Loved it !

This is so accurate as to how love develops over time and how we need to take a chance sometimes. I think this is an experience many people can relate to. I really liked the poem.

I enjoyed reading this. The story goes right to the end. Your last line brings everything together in a very creative way. Almost like a punchline for a joke. It's nice when the reader is able to visualize the story. You did this first with the car that backfired and finally with the tandem bike. If I hadn't have had nothing else to do I still would have taken the time to review this(haha) because it was really good work!

Hello LindaFisher, a merry Monday to you. I hope this finds you well. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Most people have a fantastical and unrealistic view of love but they don't realize or just don't want to acknowledge the love is a gamble. Some times you win, some times you lose, some times you break even and some times you crap out bad, but if there is no risk there is no reward. almost 18 years, you made the right gamble.

I enjoyed the sentiment and the execution and the idea
And the truth of looks not being the clincher
And real love is in the spirit not the eyes.
That I had to give you all my love. :-))Z.

I enjoyed the humour in this, and also thinking of you being at Bodnant Garden and seeing the laburnum arch. (I've been there and it was utterly gorgeous.)
Your attitude at the start for going out with him is so laid back: "And at least I would be getting some fresh air" and your descriptions of him are not very appealing, but one never knows when Cupid might be lurking to ignite that spark... even if it begins as a slow burn.
It was a good idea to get off your arse and go out.
Correction:
If I hadn't gone Id (I'd) never know he was the one

You made me smile here as you seem like a very laid back person and fell into this relationship and found some comfort and you probably don't realise just how happy you are. I love philosophy throughout, a poignant post Linda, love Dolly x

It's amazing how fate can brings things together and make them work out right. You met your life partner because you were bored. This is a lovely, romantic story put to rhymes. Well done and creative.

I love it. What a great romantic story. Good rhyming and a fun read. You almost missed the best thing in your life. I love the closing lines:
"I really don't know whether we would have ever got together
If I hadn't have had nothing else to do."
