This lost 5-7-5, Life Cycle, has the right setup and reminds the readers that all that seems lost is merely part of the rotation we must accept as life.

Your 5-7-5 poem gave me a feeling like nothing is really lost definitely a unique perspective and it gives the reader a sense of wonder. My only suggestion is with the presentation, the color or the font blends in with the background, making it hard to read.

Thank you very much for reviewing and for your suggestion. I changed it to a darker colour to contrast better.

Warming up. Stay hydrated. Meditate. Meditation is well-known as a powerful tool to calm the mind. Take time for yourself. You will enjoy the seasons (autumn and spring) if you feel better.

You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this lovely,
inspirational piece that fulfills the prompt and conveys a powerful message about not losing hope.

This is a lovely 5-7-5 poem using the shedding of the leaves in autumn and the renewal in spring to give the message
Never lose your hope

I enjoyed reading your poem. The message is relatable and incredible true. Your writing is light and the font choice works well here. Keep writing and submitting your work.

This is a haiku rather than merely a basic 5-7-5 poem I think. I am not competent to judge its qualities in the former context, but as a 5-7-5 I enjoyed it. Winter can seem very long, with the majestic specter of autumn stripped, but we are right of course to hope that Spring in all its glory will come in the end - it always does.

Thank you Katherine for your astute review, and in retrospect, I think you are right. I was thinking of lost hope initially, just to be different from other lost things, and worked backwards from there. Never mind, too late now, and I enjoyed writing it anyway ....

You brought the autumnal scene here as those leaves turn gold and fall from the trees, then you skip to spring and miss out the winter months, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

Your posting is attractively presented. Using the life cycle of trees' leaves renewal in Spring as a metaphor for hope works well in this 5-7-5 poem. We can learn a lot from nature when we pay attention.
