Hey Sharon, thanks for entering this contest. By the sounds of it, you have a wonderful event going on there. It does sound mighty chilly, but also with great warmth.
The only thing is the contest requires five lines, not five sentences. To avoid disqualification that change will need to be made.
An easy repair I am sure.

Well, it sounds like this parade is pretty well established. I live a little more north and a whole lot west of you, so we get plenty of cold weather, but nothing I want to go out dancing in. Thanks for sharing this. Good luck in the contest.
