I certainly like Ms Cheerful, she took care of me after I got out of the hospital...and yes indeed she kept me smiling, she was so nice that I wanted to keep her with me....lol..
The rhyme scheme was well done throughout the piece, and Yep, Ms Cheerful would make anyone feel better....Thanks for sharing this with us, it was a perfect example for the contest...I read your profile, and I can now say, I had the pleasure of teaching high school english too!

This poem definitely has a character, Ms. Cheerful, who is happy, never sad; cheerful, a beaming fan, sunny on the bleakest of days and an optimist who has a bubbly laugh. Wish she was nonfiction.

Well, this a very upbeat poem. I know there is power in being upbeat, when it is real and natural. I think you do a good job showing the personification of cheerfulness. I guess that is an emotion or at least related to happiness.

I wish I could be Mrs. Cheerful or at least know someone like her. Most of my friends put a negative swing on things. I am cheerful 90% of the time. Great choice of emotion for this contest. Good luck.
