This is a nicely written love poem. It has a great flow and rhyme. Beautiful photo to compliment your words as well. Good luck in the contest. Nicely done.

I can only agree, a romantic dance where two bodies and two minds meet and connect is akin to making love and a way of showing love.

A truly entrancing poem, written with finesse and flair. An eloquent love poem. Best of luck.

John, that is an absolutely beautiful poem and deserves to do well. You must be a true romantic to write with such feeling. All the best with future writings: I see you've done very well in the past. Regards, Julie Lau

Great poem for the contest. I love the progression of different dances combined with the response of the beloved ending with the beautiful phrase that there's purpose in each dance we share!

Very nice. Has a flow to it as if Lombardi himself was leading his band triumphantly, and you and your beloved were arm in arm waltzing along to his favorite songs.

It took me a couple of reads, but I finally grabbed onto most of this poem. The third to last stanza still puzzles me. This is a good love poem, and I wish you luck in the contest.

Thank you for the review, Paul. I wrote this years ago. I had to jiggle my brain a bit to remember what I was thinking at that time. I believe in this stanza; I was referring to one of life's struggles (depression) and asking for my partner to go on without me if he need be. I hope that gave you a bit more insight. Thank you again my friend.
