This is just so so beautiful! The presentation is gorgeous, the art and font add to its appeal. But your words are filled with romance, passion, and depth. Truly, a stunning poem. The last line has to be my favorite!

John, you have really nailed this piece. I guess the fact it's scored so many sixes already tells you that. And the final two lines round it out perfectly.

A romantic association between dance and love. The poem has a lilting quality and re-creates in the rhyme and rhythm the feel of music and dancing. The illustration complements the text.

John, this is an excellent love poem. The rhyming is well done. The flow and message are also very good. The image of the dancing couple with the writing makes me want to learn to dance. Terry

Thank you, Terry, for the great review. I would go for a few lessons before you start whirling around the house. LOL

John, thank you for reposting this. Your stanzas are unforced, with smooth rptrantioning end rhyme. My only suggestion is that the font takes away from the words. Your admiration and interaction with your love of life, would bounce more of the page with an easier-to-read font.

Thank you, JLR, for the great review. Yes, I have considered changing the font. I will play with it and see what I come up with.

Hi John, I think this wonderfully written poem has a lot of merit. Indeed, the walk through life can be like a dance; each step has to be carefully considered. It is a wonderful love poem where two persons are considering those steps. Good luck. Ulla:)))

That was really lovely, John. You're questions are so well placed, the rhyme is smooth and delightful. Those questions are what most of us ask, sometimes in our thoughts, and sometimes aloud when the journey through life together first begins. I'm glad you reposted, it's such a delight to read. Well done, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Sandra, thank you so much for the six stars and the beautiful words. I took a lot of advice from FS friends on this one as I'm not a poet by genre. Thank you, my friend!! It means much!

This has to be a winner. I love the second person "would you" approach. Dancing is the a most lovely metaphor for love. Your graphic is perfect. Best of luck to you with this one!
