Can a blind man dream?5 total reviews

I think he can. I have friends who are blind and dream of a place where they can see and enjoy the view. Thanks for sharing and all the very best in the contest, Kit.

You five-seven-five poem does present an interesting thought. I've heard if they weren't born blind what they see in their dreams is very much the same as other people. They see images. If they have never seen anything I wonder. I'm sure that information is out there.

Your 'thought to ponder' has engaged my imagination. Someone could dream of abstract thoughts if they had never had the power of sight, but as I don't personally know any blind people I am not sure what they internally 'see' - I guess their world is built up of descriptions by other people. "Dreading waking" implies a world of vision is scary - most things are if they are beyond someone's comfort zone.
All-in-all this is an intriguing thought - thank you for making me ponder it. The lack of pictorial accompaniment is most appropriate.

This is an interesting question. The dreams of a blind man can surely only be based upon that which he has had vividly described to him. But what of colours, of movement? It's hard to imagine. Congratulations for writing something so thoroughly thought-provoking.
