Footsteps must be watched along the path of this life. None of us want to ask, "How did I get here?" What a wonderfully written poem. Best of luck with your writing!

I like the way both the poem and the image you've chosen depict the tightrope that we all walk between life and death. Clever imagery. Strong nonet, and as you say, tinted with a bit of fun. Very good.

I like the message so adeptly delivered in this nonet. Life is both an obstacle course and a balancing act. We face a thousand choices every day, and with each, we determine fate and history. This is a very thought-provoking poem.
