Hello Jan. I enjoyed reading this well written and 'oh so fun' tale that's chocked full of word play. You did a very good and clever job of creating a cat themed story. Great notes too!!! An enjoyable read!!

Well, aren't you a clever cat ð???
Your poem was incredibly fun to read! I've never heard of a few these and definitely didn't realize there were so many idioms pertaining to cats. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Jan,

WOW! I guess I've never really considered this before - I had no idea we had created so many idioms around CATS! But then, reading all that they are into and can do - it makes perfect sense that they might inspire these kinds of things. They seem to be pretty stinking cool! Thanks for the smile!

I had no idea there were so many idioms using 'cat' or 'kitten'! That's crazy, isn't it.
You did a great job linking them all together in dialogue and story form. My only suggestion is to change the font two identify speakers if there are no tags. :)
Cool, cat!
Blessings,
Deb

Thank you, Deb, for dropping by to read and review. I didn't use a color coded speaker font because I wanted to make the idioms a color. (See notes)

This was so much fun to read, Jan! Although I'm familiar with all the cat related idioms you've used, I never would have guessed there were so many. Poor cats get blamed for so much. lol Well done.

As idioms go, this collection of cat-related phrases, Here Kitty Kitty, is the best I've seen, displaying many sayings in this cat-egory. I enjoyed this piece a lot.

This was fantastic, Jan. Thank you for the dedication to Abby!. I loved the way you put everything cat related in blue. There were lots of cat sayings. I really enjoyed the picture and the video of Ziggy and Zelda was amazing. Great job.

What a clever piece of writing to include all of those cat idioms into a story that really took some doing so well done. I enjoyed it being a cat lover anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for adding to the book, Jan! I like how you used dialogue to use all these idioms! And then there are some British English idioms such as not having enough room to "swing a cat." I learned that letting the "cat out of the bag" came from a time when merchants were supposedly selling piglets but dishonestly putting a cat instead so if you let it out, the dishonest move was revealed.
