LOL, I love this ending. It sounds to me like you have a start for a movie script. The story moves really well. The dialogue is fun and believable. The robbery while not predictable is a nice twist, as is the ending. Very well-done.

I tried to bring out a little of the good and bad in all of us with the multidimensional characters and throw in a few twists. If is wasn't I would have wondered how that 20-year marriage with the lady who stopped loving you, managed to leave you keep all that jewelry and diamonds for lady to steal. Still I guess this 'would be Romeo' must be wealthy to get such royal treatment at Guido's. I enjoyed reading this. I was beginning to wonder when you planned to write something. I had heard you were an excellent novelist and I was waiting to find out. I wasn't disappointed.

The reflective detail of the opening paragraphs, presenting the heart-wounder, jilted husband, serves nicely to draw us in and to sympathize with him before his new affair begins. Frankly, I found him a tad sleazy, but I was fascinated by his companion. Dark, sultry, a little to willing..... how did he not suspect her? Vanity, I fancy. :-) Love the detail at the end... of Sicilian neckties.... eeuugh.... gruesome! Thanks for a great fun read.

I never could resist a juicy mystery behind the lives of those darn Italians... when someone thinks they have the upper hand... they better look not once, twice but three times behind them. Of course, a giggle or two makes me wonder how much truth is buried within the meat of the story. LOL It couldn't have been written any better. I simply loved it from beginning to (the luscious middle) and the satisfying ending. What a pick-me-up!!!
You most definitely should write more often. I adored it!

A very interesting story. Well written and interesting to read. You have played the characters nicely so that the reader is able to follow with ease. I like the description used and at first thought it was too much but changed my mind as I got farther into the story. Great job.

Oh well, the extra hundred words or so, was used nicely, in making things very descriptive and using plenty of metaphors to paint with. In the end a guy got robbed by a woman, but they way you wrote it, no one will feel too bad for the guy or distaste the criminal woman.
