I wish I had a six, it would be yours. You talk about surprises. The ending of this chapter was totally unexpected, especially after the lovemaking. I can't wait to read more. Have a wonderful afternoon. Shirley

    Aww... thank you, Shirley :)
Yes, this is definitely a game changer. This happened for a reason. There is a previous chapter where Carrie has a dream of her childhood. Her parents died in a car accident when she was five years old. She miraculously survived, but no one could figure out how since their car went over a bridge and sank. A truck driver found Carrie on the side of the road completely dry. When they asked her how she managed to get out of the car, she told them an angel saved her.
That will play a part of how this story ends. And it will be a fairytale ending too. I never end my books with a bad ending.
I appreciate your review and generous stars. Your encouragement makes a difference.
    Thanks again!

    Sincerely,
    Shana :)

A chapter in the book THE CURSE
Fearless/Part Two

scongroveI found this chapter very intriguing and how you held my attention was like I was caught in a maze and cannot escape.
it shocked me when I read the part
What she saw made her eyes go wide and her mouth open with a gasp. She tried to look away, tried to pull herself from the unholy image staring back at her. It was... She was... hideous... demonic.

Wow! What a fabulous switch, that's very clever Shana, I suppose with a demon, it can inhabit someone else, if there's an almost spiritual connection, which I guess that the physical uniting can do, "the two will become one flesh". The origin of marriage wasn't originally ceremonial, that was the promise, the betrothal, so I wonder if you've made that connection. Boy, it's now interesting, for the covenant especially, well done dear girl, great job, blessings Roy

Yes, this is definitely a game changer. But there is a reason why Carrie is taking on the Shadow. It does have something to do with the ending. Maybe I will get to that point soon. Whew! This book is taking forever to complete. I'm hoping readers will enjoy this one when it gets out in print.
BTW, I hope it's okay that I mention you in my author's acknowledgements. You have been a great inspiration to me, and I sure appreciate you.

    Always your fan,
    Shana :)

The objective correlative of your work reminisces destiny's pulling and tying together of two lovers: the bewildered female, Carrie and her sinister male partner, Joseph.

The work highlights Joseph's grievous life with his parents; his harrowing eclectic living in tethers, which sadly culminated in his being appropriated by the Shadow, a wolf spirit; his encounter with Carrie and their burgeoning love affair, which is being threatened by the Shadow.

The work earns its texture through its effective use of fear inspiring anecdotes.

Excellent work. Bravo.

SHANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

How could you??!?! HOW COULD YOU LET THAT THING INSIDE OF CARRIE!!!!?!?!?!?

I mean I thought what I guessed what be shocking but... THIS? I mean, THIS IS unbelievable!!

Now when the Breedline goes to get Joseph, they won't find the Shadow! What's going to happen now? Why did it go into HER? When WILL THIS CURSED THING DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!???

LOL. Shana, I'm being serious this time. I have to know what happens next. Spill a few beans for a friend, eh?

But all things aside, this is a very very clever twist. I never would've expected it. Now I'm wondering what the Breedline's going to do now when they find out The Shadow is in Carrie.

SIX STARS! Please post sooner than you usually do! I HAVE TO HAVE ANSWERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

LOL! :) You crack me up! Hee-hee! Yes, this is definitely a game changer. I had planned this to happen. Remember... fairy tale ending.
There is a chapter where Carrie has a dream of when she was five years old. She dreamed of when her parents died in a car accident. An angel named Lailah saved Carrie. And when Carrie asked the angel to take her to heaven so she could be with her mommy and daddy, the angel said she couldn't go just yet because God has a very important task for her to do. Well... the Shadow attaching itself to Carrie is part of God's task. You will see why close to the end. That is, if I ever get there. Arggg....
Thanks so much for the dedication and the awesome review. YOU make a difference. And remember... no good characters die in my stories. If they do, something magically brings them back. Even most of the bad characters get second chances in my stories. LOL!

Until next time, be safe my friend!
    Big hugs,
    Shana :)

Ahhh. Okay. I'm still tryna calm my nerves... hopefully I'll be all better by next Monday, LOL. You're very welcome, and you're too kind! I can't wait to find out the reason for this plan of God's. And it WILL be a fairytale ending, fairytale ending. LOL. See ya!
