It's not easy making your point in 33 words. I'll be honest with you, though, I believe your underlying message is that the vaccinations don't work, but God is a huge concept to throw into a 33-word story. But to say that He is Dr. Dawn and then even He has disappeared without more words to explain it, leaves me with my hands thrown up and thoroughly baffled. And why are the three dead men walking home from the morgue?
I'm really sorry. I'm not trying to be mean-spirited, but I don't think you gave me enough clues to make sense of your flash fiction.

An interesting piece of fiction for this contest, it could do very well, good luck. You had thirty-three words to work with, so this is very creative. It will be interesting how some of our fellow FanStory members feel about the piece. This virus has had more finger-pointing and lawsuits than anything except a Presidential Election. But nobody is blaming or suing God. It would be interesting if your work turns out not to be fiction. Excellent work!

This is short and sweet, and the title and last few words are the most powerful. I picture them walking away from the morgue and God behind them, phasing out and they walk away. Love it.

An ironic poem with a tinge of mockery. It speaks funny, too, with the undead now searching for God. Above everything artistic, its spiritual absence lies in God disappearing.

I read this through and hit myself in the head with the heel of my hand, then started over, reading carefully again. In spite of my best efforts and the bruised forehead, I still do not understand this story. I must be missing some very important clues. Please help me. I will gladly try again.
