I really like how you set the scene and put us there in that meadow looking up at the stars while enjoying the fragrance of the grass and flowers. Good personification of the patient moon. Though your rhythm falters a bit in your closing couplet, this is a delightful English sonnet. Rod

This is a beautiful and well-constructed sonnet. Good luck in the contest. I'm very much a star gazer. There's nothing quite as awesome as a star-studded sky on a bright night. It makes one wonder about time, space, nature and the supernatural. Amazing. Thank you for sharing.
