Sorry for no six, mystery poet. A much needed word in these dark days of tyranny. I especially liked this line:
Freedom's fire is fueled by truth and dimmed
by deadly lies. The night that closes in
is like that shrouding mist that slowly rose
to hide the evil Tempter when we first
awoke within that perfect Garden.
Lies are deadly, and flooding us daily. We fight it with truth and truth found in God's word is the most powerful, I find.
I wish you all the best in the contest. A winner in my eyes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this longer work and for the glowing review. When it came time to post this, it occurred to me I didn't have a title. I was coming up blank (so to speak!), so I just picked the last line. All suggestions welcome!
