"Drink And Be Free" uses a powerful metaphor, the Fountain of Life, to advance the idea that life can be refreshed and renewed at this font that connects the fortunate imbiber to God. The poem's rhymes and its meter are maintained, but at the cost of what could be said more inventively and, yes, refreshingly. This poem is good but could be better with a more careful development of words and images.
