I don't recall this particular song, but for whatever reason, I always liked love songs written about phone calls made to former lovers. Gret job on bringing this one to light. Good luck with your entry.

Dear Frank, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Jim Reeves was a wonderful singer and a very nice, gentlemanly person, too. His early death was a tragedy felt by many, yours truly included.

Your choice is interesting as the minute I read it I remembered how much I liked that song. He had such a mellow voice, and I was my boyfriend's new love. He went back to the old one and I blamed the song.

Dear Carol, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Jim Reeves was one of the gentlemen of Country and Western music whose voice could charm a duck off a pond. Shame about your romance though. Still it was better to find out early rather than late. I think I'd have blamed that song too in this particular case.
