Oh, no.... Poor Brook and Sallie. You gave all the pet characters true style. Great imagery and dialogue. I know most animals don't like storms, specially thunder. I once had a Pitbull that would go crazy during storms. He was so scared he would poop and pee in the carpet. Poor baby.
Great job, Aryr. I truly enjoyed your story.
Blessed be and Gypsy hugs

Aww that was so nice of you, Gypsy to reviewing and your great comments. That was definitely a poor baby, Pitbull.

Hello Alie.
My understanding of dogs and cats is they like to be wrapped up when there is Thunder and lightning. The conversation among the kitties struck me as they use the term fraidy dog. I'm sure they would never use that other word. HAHAHA

You did a great job, aryr. I enjoyed reading your club story. I could see and hear each of the three characters speaking. I love the idea of hiding under a pillow. I had a 75 pound dog, Muffin, who was terrified of thunder. She would get as close to someone she could--even sitting on top of them it seemed. It' amazing at the different reactions animals have to thunder.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you so much, Jan, for reviewing and your amazing comments. The six stars were wonderful. Poor Muffin and yes I do know she is gone, but well remembered.

This is a really cute dialogue only story, Alie. They sound like adorable pets, but the cats did bully the poor dog. I love the conversation you've created between them. Sorry to hear two of them have passed away. Well done.

So clever--the cats calling the dog a fraidy dog because he doesn't like thunder. Charming story with delightful banter among this quirky trio. Are these based on your pets?

Thank you so much Elizabeth for reviewing and your amazing comments. Of course, Tabitha is the only one left and she is almost 17 years, I just couldn't do this to her, when she is gone we will get a puppy and a kitten, heaven help us!

Poor Sallie. Try as she might, she's still afraid of the thunder but doesn't want to admit. That's okay. A lot of humans are afraid of it, too. Brooke and Tabitha were giving her a hard time.

Animals hate loud unfamiliar noises and storms with thunder are scary for humans, so we understand how scared pets are too, you made me smile with your sweet story here, love Dolly x

I suppose the opposite to fraidt cat, is fraidy dog. But then, even I don't particularly like thunder, or as my grandson once called it, "chunder" reminding me of something beyond sound. Beautifully written Tabitha, a lot of cats are more adept at keyboard work and literacy than some humans I know, well done my furry friend, blessings Roy PS say hello to mama, Alie.

Lol! I'm glad you called back Brooke and Sallie to enact this script with Tabitha! Poor Sallie to be called a "fraidy dog." But it's true that fear is not limited to small-sized beings! The cats proved that "fraidy cat" is not a fair expression!
Since this is more of a script, I would suggest putting "Cast of Characters" as a heading for:
Tabitha the Maine Coon runt
Brooke the calico cat (died)
Sallie the 75 lbs chocolate lab (died)
