This is a fun poem drawing on the language of a grandchild. You very creatively wrote a poem explaining some of this new language. The only suggestion is that it would have been fun if you could have worked in: "where do they sit?" Good Job.

This is such a fun poem to read, Roy. It's always interesting to see how children create words often more appropriate for something unfamiliar to them. Your grandsons did a great job with this one! Thanks for sharing.

And you see, that in itself is a blessing from God. He blesses man with one of his greatest assets and gifts, the gift of creativity. Some abuse this gift to create profane expressions, in words and images. This, a curse from Satan the Devil, the father of profanity.

I hope you do write more of them. Being a retired first grade teacher I am very familiar with interesting words and spellings that young ones come up with. I was always fascinated with them. Thank you for sharing.

A different theme for you, but I love it. Fez and I used to write joint poems where we invented words. It's fun and a good practice on poetic agility. Your grandchildren are definitely cute, and I enjoyed your nod to them in this cute poem

Take care,
Rhonda

Where did you find such a matching picture with your poem? Children are amazing. They always surprise adults with what they see and what they talk...

It is similarly amazing that you can turn their views into such an interesting poem. I have never seen people clean the urinals. Now they are flashed...

Thanks for sharing your beautiful writing.

Ha, too cute. Kids say the most interesting things, yes?

I don't believe I have ever read a poem about a urical before, but I certainly can understand celebrating their existence as to the previous conditions.

Great job here, Roy. :))

Well that was not at all what I was expecting!! But it's a bit of light humour and it brought a smile. Kids have he best way of expressing things, for sure. Is his name "Miah" or is it short for "Jeremiah"?

Yes, Miah is shortened from Jeremiah, he?s playing Gavroche in Les Miserable in February, a great actor, thanks so much for your kind review, blessings Roy

My newest grandson (4 months old) is Jeremiah, and I thought that Miah would be a good abbreviation if they wanted a short form.

I don't think I have ever read a poem about a urinal before Roy. They are not a pretty sight and men don't seem to mind urinating collectively. No wonder your Granddaughter was curious, love Dolly x

Lol! Thank you for sharing the fun! It's wonderful what children come up with in their imaginative minds to understand the grown-ups ways and language. That's so cute!
