Your poem is interesting. We do live our lives with beginnings and endings. On these cold days, we wish for an end to winter. We are prisoners of time.

Yes, we are. I'm enjoying winter. It's summer I hate. Thanks, Anne.

You know someday there will be no time and no beginnings and no end. I am sure I will see you there. No sickness and only good health and best of all will be actual contact with the creator. What joy. Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done.
I am a little knew to free-verse poetry.
But I think this conveyed your message of no time well.
Thanks for sharing. We appreciate it

Time entered the world when sin entered through creation's door, with Adam and Eve, and dragged the rest of us with them, how can one have a beginning and and an end unless death enters in! So even back then, God had it covered, the woman's seed! Beautifully written Yvonne, blessings Roy

This was a wonderful free verse, damommy. I loved the infinity sign you used, there truly is no beginning or end. I enjoyed your words because they ended with a question, which showed our doubt. What if?

Wow Yvonne,
There are a lot of things to like about this poem. It certainly makes me think. I guess we have to remember that it was God who made the days and nights. I think we need time as an instrument for comparison. But, as you say, what if there was no time? We wouldn't have to worry about appointments. It seems that few people keep them anyway. I fear that there would be mass confusion though. Lots to think about gal. I love the color scheme and the symbol you chose, and if I may be so bold, your picture is delightful. I'm a shallow man, so forgive me if I offend, but you were a knockout gal.
Have a blessed day.

That's a lovely thing to say. How could I be offended by that?! About time, there's no way we could live without it now. It's all we know. Thank you so much for a wonderful review.

I'm not sure I would know what to do if there were no beginnings or no endings. I would be in a quandary. Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I enjoyed reading your poem and your talent shines through.

We will always have beginnings and endings. That's how we're programmed. Thanks for reviewing.

You did a great job, Yvonne, with your free poem for the club. I love the color scheme and infinity symbol image. One knows of his/her beginnings from being told of it by others (parents). S/he internalizes it and makes it their own. The ending one ponders consciously or not because it's always there. What happens in between is governed by time whether in man made measurable increments or not. That part cannot be controlled--it's one's life. But s/he knows their beginning and understands their will be an ending. Your words are well thought out with deep meaning and imagery.
Respectfully, Jan

Your appealing poem describes the human tendency to wonder "What if . . . .?" God has left us with enough mysteries to keep us wondering throughout life.

I like it. It certainly is a free verse. I love the black background and chosen infinity art. It sets it apart. Beautifully penned and illustrated, dear.
