This is another excellent chapter. I really have a problem with this "Fire and Brimstone" preachers like Father Tobias who are so quick to condemn. I liked this chapter very much and I'm not jumping to the next one!

This mystery only gets deeper! Cassidy has suffered so much, and now her difficulties have only multiplied. She's pregnant and doesn't know who drugged and raped her; she was beaten by these main guys at the behest of some woman who thinks she stole her man; and even the local priest thinks she's to blame for her troubles! And meanwhile, the apparition of the woman in white to Annie is clearly no figment of the little girl's imagination, but is corroborated by Allie and Cassidy's observation, although they have no way of knowing that there observation is significant.
Again, I found no errors. I also read your previous chapter, even though I didn't review it. I'm sorry I haven't been on FanStory as much as I would like to be!

I'm wondering how old Cassidy is. If she's Jon's sister and Jon and Mary are parents of Liz and Faith, and are grandparent age, shouldn't Cassidy be in her forties? I guess it's still very possible to be pregnant but odd to behave like she does.
I am wondering if the new priest has something to do with Cassidy's rapist.
You know I don't read this genre much, so I'll be checking in now and then.

My daughter had a child at 17.... She would be 51
Her daughter is 33 will be 34
Her granddaughter is 10
So if Mary had twins at 15 She would be 49
Faith, Liz and Cassidy would be 31 or 32
Annie would be 10
As for the 40s...there are several in our family that think they are 20. Even my husband didn't "grow up" until he was 45. LOL And I had my last child at 36.
As for the new Priest...He is so threatened by what happened in the past that he is over the top strict with his preaching. He needs to learn a happy medium with life.

But Cassidy is Jon's sister, so she would be the same generation as Jon and Mary. She was Mary's friend, right. So She must be 49?

This is another great read. Mysteries were present but not solved in this chapter. I am so looking forward to the next chapter. There is no room for improvement.
