Great job with your spiritual acrostic decima! I like how your first stanza focuses on the difficulties in life ("zapping your joy") and then you provide the solution of faith in your second stanza!

This is a great acrostic, with excellent imagery, visuals and artistic presentation. Acrostics are hard to do without them sounding forced, and yours flows naturally.
The only words I had trouble with are "pay dirt". I wonder (maybe it's just me) if perhaps replacement words can be found.
Great job on the club challenge.

Very well done on this acrostic - Seize Faith. Your words are so true, no matter what we face in life, if we put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, He will give us the strength that we need to rise above every difficulty and obstacle.

Hi Gee, thanks for the kudos. This a just a writing prompt for the Potlatch poetry club, not a contest entry. We had to select two 5 letter words to develop the Acrotic in an eight-syllable format using AABAB AABBA rhyme.

you are very welcome... I actually thought it might be a thing... even googled... the only thing that came up was a grunge band from the 80's... the eventually became Alice in Chains.
