This is a nicely written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme. Beautiful overall presentation background and font colour. Lovely photo to compliment your words as well. Good luck in the contest.

Yes, I definitely love your style of writing. Especially
your subject matter. For, it is hard to focus on love, when
we live in a Godless Society. But you definitely put true
skills on display. And that's hot. Keep Writing. And I will
be looking forward to seeing you, when you stop by my spot,
to enjoy some of my poetry.

What a happy looking and sounding family, both in terms of the their structure and the characteristics taught to the younger members. I loved this poem, also for the technicity, the repetitions at the line beginnings and the line end rhymes went well together.

It is funny how many people believe but no longer confess a belief in something beyond the grave, or that there is a God at all. Exposing themselves, they think, will put them in a minority of crazies. Thanks for the reminder how life is and you made and watches over it.

I agree with every word here, we devote ourselves to family to help them grow and nurture them to leave behind our legacy and I feel that I have done that in life and can be proud of my fine family, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Nicely penned. A legacy of love passed down through the generations is of far more value than any material inheritance. This can be a hard truth to swallow in a world that is predicated on material values.

I enjoyed reading your poem called "Legacy." I love how this poem refers to not just a family with a lot of money or ones that are famous but it could be any family in general that can make their own legacy if they do not limit themselves to being given "riches" or wait on handouts to "get what they need" for life as you have expressed in the first 4 lines.
Furthermore, I like how you go on to name the things that really need to be offered to them such as "wisdom" and "prayers" in order to "live out their faith" which means they need reassurance and guidance to accomplish this .
The only thing that I will say is center your words in your poem under the picture to make it look better visually and easier to read.
Overall, great 10 line poem that can uplift anyone and perhaps be used on a billboard someday!

Hello author, I enjoyed reading your poem. Your message is clear.
I especially liked:
Offer them your love and prayers
Offer your wisdom for their cares
(Nice.)
Silky rhyming. Well chosen artwork. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

What a great poem, with such words of wisdom. Our children most certainly learn how to act by the actions they observe at home. While I suppose that most of us would love to leave a financial gift to them, money won't give them the life lessons they need to succeed. Well done.
Have a blessed evening.

Thank you for reviewing. Yes, our spiritual legacy is more important than any money gift.
