What a wonderful true story and the way the two of you were dubbed as gay just because you were admiring art is not unbelievable but it should be! Preconceived prejudices can work both ways, can't they? This is exceptionally written right down to the punch line! You and Kirby were just business partners, nothing more, nothing less!
Thanks for pointing out the obvious and to some of those on FS, the less obvious.

This is truly a hoot. I agree there are preconceived prejudices that two guys admiring an Andy Warhol artwork must be gay.
I am glad to know that Zoe hung the picture in an area for all to admire.

Thank you very much. Zoe died three years ago. She had lots of gay friends. They were called Zoe's boys. We never had children, so it was fitting. Zoe once told a friend that the gay guys don't bother with Terry because his jeans are too baggy! Terry.

Thank you very much. We kept the artwork, Zoe died 3 years ago, when I die, Kirby and Jodi get the Warhol through my will, it is his story as much as it is mine. Terry.

LOL! What did he say to that? How funny. I suppose these days if two men are together they are unfortunately presumed to be gay. I think men will have to start wearing placards to say what gendre they are. It is so not right! This was funny, though, so, good luck in the contest! :)) Sandra xxx

I have to tell you that was so funny, I loved it... I noticed the sentence that said ( They would have dogs, labs) I would have said it They would have dogs, more specifically labs, and I personally would use negotiate not negotioated. I see your point about perception, we as humans have really overdone that one, but on the other hand it makes for great and funny stories sometimes.....you know there is a fine line when it come to funny, sometimes. Yours however was just perfect, Great job!!
