Yours is an interesting study, nicely done.
On footprints in the snow: This last October, the monument company notified us that my grandparents' head stone had been finished and placed.
I wanted to see it.
I, our youngest daughter, and married son with his family flew to Thermopolis, Wyoming to see the newly dedicated memorial.
As luck would have it, a terrible storm went through the area the day before with a foot of snow on the ground. Fortunately, it cleared, and our arrival day was clear though chilly compared to home in the San Fernando Valley.
At the cemetery, we also tracked down relatives that morning after a local Protestant minister dedicated the new monument in my grandparents' memory.
When we came back that afternoon, we were able to put flowers on each plot by simply following our tracks in the snow simplifying the search immensely.
Surprisingly, two days later when we went back to say Kaddish on the anniversaries of my grandparents' deaths, the temperature was in the high 60s, the snow had melted, the sky was clear and the grass in the cemetery was an amazingly deep green.
It was as though it was spring.
The next day, after we left for home the previous evening, a tremendous storm came through closing roads all through the state and disrupting all flights.
Maybe that brief interval was a beneficence honoring our efforts?

It is hard to find mulch to say about these short poems. It looks good to me and the artwork is perfect and compliments the writing. I see it is a contest entry, so I wish you the best of luck.
