Wow, that's awesome! And the perfect example of so many who have literally all cried out after a traumatic loss. And you already have the chartreuse plus sign. Bravo. Me, an emotional guy. LOL. It's a nice thought, but most who heard that would be cracking up. Happy Holidays! Hugs, Ric.

I just deduced that from some of your comments but hey what do I know?

Hugs, to you! When my heart went nuts, my ex-wife called to say, "Heart? I didn't know you had a heart. I thought you ran on hormones and adrenaline." LOL. No, I am an emotional person deep down. I've just learned to hide it so well, for my own protection. I've just felt comfortable enough with you to be open. Which speaks volumes about you! Enjoy the Holidays! A great big bear hug and a peck on the forehead! Ric

I know the feeling, I lost my mom at a young age. Your poem is moving, and has universal appeal. The picture adds to your poems emotion and works well. The entire presentation gets a thumbs up.

what a sad poem. I can imagine this girl cried for hours after her mother died. She brought flowers to the grave and didn't shed a tear. Her bravery is beyond words.

Good entry for the 5-7-5 writing prompt contest. It's my favorite in the voting booth, so far. You have good imagery. The font is very hard to read. Good syllables count and connection between lines. Good luck in the contest.

This is such a sad little poem. It matches the picture perfectly. Your work was definitely tugging at my heart strings. I just wanted to yank her out of the picture and hold her.

Your wee poem reminded me of Camus' novel 'L'Etranger' (The Outsider) where the protagonist is charged with murder and the main evidence against him is that he didn't cry at his mother's funeral...
Your character here is quite different in that her lack of tears does not show indifference or lack of emotion - she is simply 'all cried out' - the tears have been shed before this moment.
It is a strong statement about grief.
Good luck in the contest.

I can identify with these words as children and adults need a relief from grief as it grips us for too long and our tears become dry over the years, a poignant write, love Dolly x

She lost all the water, she has cried out all, she has placed all her flowers onto her mother's grave; now she has no further tears; well said, well done (******); keep writing. ALCREATOR LITT DEAR

A very touching poem for this contest, good luck. You found a perfect picture to go with the poem. In such few words you are able to convey much emotion for your readers. Good job.

This is a very well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned for the writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words and the art work you chose went well with your words. Best wishes in the contest. Teri
