I don't think life is fair a lot of the time so I suppose the weather can be unfair as well. Winter can be unfair and uncooperative if you're planning on skiing the cold and the snow and the ice may be totally fair. If you're working outside, not so much!

I like this one, bemoaning the winter cold and the unfairness of Nature, and referring to her as a mean-spirited person, bringing such disagreeable weather. It is clearly expressed, and a fine entry.

read these words I thought about New York in the winter. It was so hard
to drive to work in the freezing weather! The poem flows and connects

When a person gets older, there are complication with the snow, ice and cold. Many people are snowbirds which I thoroughly can understand. Snow is definitely unfair when it comes to the hazard roads. It is God's creation, and it should never be unfair. He is not unfair.

It occurs to me that while someone is cursing the snow and the ice in one place. Someplace else, someone is cursing the harsh baking sun, burning their skin, making them wish for a cooling breeze. No place is perfect, no place is imperfect.

There was no snow or ice here yesterday as my caregiver took me out...but there was an icy wind that blew my entire being into tears...oh my, it was so cold and made me better understand your poem. Is Mother nature mean? Sometimes... I really like this verse and picture. You have done a fine job here...best of luck in the contest! Thank you for giving us the form for this.
