Ms Liz, I am honored at your endorsement! I love to write poems and stories, but I am a well known writer of Letters to the Editor in our small county here in Texas. Love to stir that pot with the local powers. I do hope Tom will try one or, let me create that contest. Thanks for stopping by. And tell Vermont hello from us: My Mass wife and this Texan met in New York and, would visit Falls. Once rode the gondola up Mt. Killington through beautiful colors only to find snow at the very top. Married 44 years and living in Texas, we come "home to New England" almost every year. Merry Christmas.

We'll be back and will wave as we pass by! Apple doughnuts and Woodstock "art" is our passion. If you would ever like to read a somewhat humorous tale about a Texan who meets and marries a Massachusetts yankee, I'd be honored if you would take a few minutes to read my "Of Mountains and Women and Life" of a year ago.
Well, all decorations up, all Christmas cards out, I have not gone shopping but we have a deal: she does not mow or weed-eat, I do not shop. It has worked for 44 years... Merry!

If we read the letters to the editor, we always see lots of stuff on crime and politics. But like you suggested, let us do differently to make a positive impact. Thanks for sharing and all the very best in the contest, Kit.

Oh, so nice to hear from beautiful Shillong! In my travels, the closest I ever got was Sri Lanka. I am probably to old to visit you there in this life, but I have big plans fo the next! Anyway, so good to hear from you and thank you for your nice review.
