I love the haiku feel of your eight word poem! It gives me the sense of the passing season and hushed whispers as the silent season of winter approaches. Best wishes in the contest!

I don't normally care for such short poems, but this is too beautiful to pass up. Beautifully presented and worded, it makes me feel how Autumn just slowly goes to sleep and Winter comes in for its turn.
