Hi Ulla, thank you my friend for posting this tribute to Sasha. I used to follow her when I was more active on this site, and I knew all about her falls. The sadness was that her daughters never contacted her or visited. She loved them and lived in the hope that they would visit her and bring her grandchildren. I wonder if they even know she has died? I'm so pleased I read this, now I know and I feel very sad as I was about to wish her a happy birthday nearer Christmas day. She had acknowledged that she had been difficult due to her post traumatic disorder. Did you ever read 'a leaf on the wind' it was the story of her abuse from her father as a child. She tried to get them to read it, but I don't think they ever did. then later she lost everything when a so called friend got her addicted to drugs. Sigh. ..Hugs and love, Giddy

Thank you so much, Giddy. Yes, I followed her for years, and we oftened Pm'ed. I liked her a lot. She was a private person although it did't appear so on the surface. I don't think she had an easy life. In the end we lost contact with each other. I'd missed her on the site and then I learned she passes away. Yes I did read 'a leaf on the wind'. it was poignant but her family didn't want to know. It's all very sad, really. A big hug and love back to you. Ulla xx

Thank you, Ulla, for adding your thoughtful memories to Sasha. I had been missing her and had hoped to send her a copy of my book (if ever finished) as she encouraged me to do so. Now we'll have to wait until Heaven to see what she's writing now with new eyes.

"forevermore" is one word.

This is a lovely tribute, my friend, and I bet Sasha would be so pleased!

Yes, she used to have me laughing too, and she certainly was able to laugh at herself -- humble to a fault!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. I've been tinking about her of late and then this. I've made the correction. Thanks for pointing it out. Ulla:)))

A nice fitting tribute to someone who could laugh at himself, and that is always a precious commodity, especially today. It is the ultimate compliment you paid here and it is hard to think of all the people we lost this year on the site. estory

Thank you so much, estory. Yes, she had a great sense of humour, and it was very infectious. It is sad to think of all the people we have lost on this site. Ulla:)))

What a beautiful tribute to Sasha. Regardless of what troubles greeted her each day, she managed to turn the story into something that made the reader smile and enjoy the laugh even if it was on here. I met Sasha when I first joined FanStory and truly missed her when I returned. She was a wonderful person who touched many lives while facing the darkness of her own.

Hugs, Carol

I am afraid I learned of her passing yesterday. I so loved her Mexican rants, which I always encouraged her to write....just so sad, nearly strange to think a person gone. It so reminds of own vulnerabilities.
A lovely gesture. May she rest in peace.

My best Ulla.

I was not familiar with this character though many here seemed to know her well. I could not find her name in the list of members so perhaps she is going under another alias. whoever she was I am sure she would have appreciated this tribute.

She was something else. Always so positive, and never afraid to laugh at her own expense. I will miss her. Thanks a lot for the review. Ulla:)))

I did not know Sasha, but love the heartfelt tribute you've given. I could sense your emotion for Sasha through your writing and hope also for the rest and peace Sasha obviously deserves.

Yes, Amahra, I did like her a lot and her positive attitude to life in general. She was so prone to accidents, but always saw the funny side of things. Ulla:)))
