I enjoyed this short story very much. I love books as did my late husband..My elder son inherited this love of reading but he lives on the other side of the Atlantic. I have begun downsizing. Hopefully I can find good homes for those books I will be giving away.

A cleverly written story which I really enjoyed as I love reading books although I don't have a particular author or authors I just enjoy crime thrillers mostly. I use a book exchange when I want more books these are all second hand books, you take one and replace it with one of yours. So I could relate to this story thanks for sharing it. Kooky.

As an avid reader, this story touched my heart. How wonderful that Jenny could leave her beloved books to her grandson even if it was indirectly. You have done a great job with the dialogue and the story is smooth and easy to follow. FanStory says a reviewer should also tell the writer what could be improved. In this case I don't see anything to improve.

This is a delightful family story that builds and flows to a very happy ending. Jenny gave her books away because her daughter, Tim's mom, didn't want her house cluttered with them. However, Tim ended up with the books anyway, after Jenny's death. What a clever story. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you Jerome for a lovely review. I did get a credit voucher in return for some books, and all my grandchildren love reading. The rest is fiction. My name isn't in any books and I am still here!

What a nice story for this Family Contest. Nan had a great idea with the voucher. I've used several used book stores. The stories and adventures are the very same as each person returns the book for new ones. Good luck with the contest.
