A decision must be made: "Dutton also realized if Adler escaped he would strike again and again." A strong metaphor: "A bedraggled choreography stopped Dutton's sedan." You've got the reader with you: "There's one final angle we haven't tried." The last lines make us want to move on to see this happen.

Sorry it's taken me so long to review your post. But, they liked me so much at the hospital the first trip that, they made me come back for a longer visit. Glad to be out and reading your posts. :-) I've been thinking about you and hoping your Saturday surgery goes well!

So Alder wants to die suicide by cop. Many do and it appears the only way Alder can save face. I can't wait for the next installment.

This is another intense chapter, Brett. The dialogue is real, as are the emotions conveyed. I'll be waiting to see what Dutton's plan is and if it works. Well done.

I'm not sure I have read any previous chapters of this story. Cop stories are not really my thing but this one seems to be fast-paced and interesting. You do an especially excellent job with the dialogue which makes any story easier to follow and understand.

Hi Brett, Addler seems to have the upper hand all the time. What on earth will it take to stop him? I love the story and it it is moving on at a wonderful pace. All I'm saying is, now what? Ulla:)))

I guess even a killer would get tired of the game eventually. I hope Dutton is right. Maybe this man has an obsession that won't allow him to quif. I would have thought he might have wanted to take Dutton out before the end.
