What a great little story, finely crafted and different, offering an innovative way to clean up the kitchen while enjoying nature's gorgeous little creatures. I like stories about wildlife, and that cute picture is so sweet.

Good luck wishes for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest, Trask. The picture was perfect for your words, I loved it, a tiny, little, baby chameleon. I really enjoyed the idea of going out to buy another one based on the fruit flies. Very well done and greatly enjoyed.

He is so cute!!! What an adorable dribble this is. Chameleons can clean up fruit flies nicely. You chose something unique to write about and I wish you good luck in the contest! Say goodbye to those fruit flies!

Ciao!

This delightful story warmed my heart.

I have thought of getting one of these amazing rain forest dwellers.

I have written at least half a dozen wee poems about them.

I love their ability to change colour and blend in with their surroundings.

And that rolled up tough when it strikes .. it's like a whip.

Shame you didn't add a pic ..I love the vivid colours .. just to delight my eye sight....

...but don't get me wrong , your story definitely engages even with out artwork.

They are better than those toxic insect sprays ..

My Lolita ( squirrel monkey pet) was great at keeping our house bug free, the eco way too ( biggrin)

    Hi.
Yes a pic! I thought for some reason that fiction pieces didn't get a picture image. Why not?! I've added one - thanks for the prompt.

    You had a monkey?! Cool!!

Yeah aren't chameleons the best - I want one. Wonder if they're $$$$

    Ciao!

Cute pic? one of the smallest members ..

more than their size , I?m fascinated by the vivid hues.

Here is one of my entries .. the colours are mesmerising.. don?t bother reviewing.

I have written about my pet monkey a couple of times .. the latest poem about her seen through her eyes:

No need to review .. read the notes too fir more details.

I don?t think chameleons are over pricey but having them mailed doesn?t really appeal to me.

I m scared something could go wrong.. they are better off in their natural habitat.

    Take care!

Yowzaa! That chameleon's colors are incredible!! Isn't nature amazing.

Having Lolita in your family was a wonderful blessing, she was a lucky simian to have such a loving home.
Sounds like you really bonded with her - must have been amazing.
