This is insightful of these times. It has a great rhyme and is well written.
My dad would say the world is going to h*** on roller skates. I do believe in peaceful protest especially for freedom though. Have a terrific week God bless you. Laura

This is a powerful monologue poem that is passionate and heartfelt. It reminds me of something you'd hear at a poetry slam or open mike night, where people read what they wrote from the heart.What else is powerful is the image, which screams to me...you can have all the clicks in the world, but time will still run out.Well done!

Powerful message, and your work is compelling. I agree with you totally,(although I don't live in the US). This world is in a mess, based on greed, living for self and self-centredness, lack of respect for law and order, lack of compassion for the vulnerable .... a never-ending list. Can't wait for divine intervention ... all in the plan, and at the right time!

That come back has been prophesied, we just do not know when, but we do know that its effect will be felt worldwide.

He will return, but not in a way most of the world expects. It will be felt all at once and the effect will be world wide.

I think you struck the right tone with this poem. Some memorable lines without forced rhymes that seemed natural. You brought into focus a broken world, but also gave instruction on what we can do.
