You are writing an interest-grabbing story and I think this chapter does a lot to show the character of the narrator. He is a take charge kind of guy with a lot of confidence and a desire to do the right thing. I like him already. The story is well-told and has good description and plenty of action as well as suspense. Readers will keep turning the pages. Good job.
