It's true that there are things our kids may have done, that we don't have to worry about, and glad that we don't have to deal with the consequences, but when they are adults, that bird has probably flown. But the disappointment that perhaps we've failed is depressing, but you did your best. Beautifully written Beth. Blessings Roy

I am enjoying your Bio and family status. Those days were special not only to you but to me as well. Thanks, Beth. Another good one.

Thank you so much for a great review. I almost had writers block. I went through a spell of getting behind and almost saying forget about it. It is what i got for bing-watching three seasons of a TV show on netflick. LOL Thanks for all the stars.

That sounds like a very distressing time, Beth. I don't know how you put up with it all. I know it's difficult to ask your children to carry their own weight if they are living at home as adults. I've learned too of things my well-raised kids did that they never told us about. Oh well, they survived. lol Well written. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Judy. You are right they survived and so did we. I've did things I wasn't so proud of either, and I'm not sure my parents ever found out. LOL

Finding out what your children were up to is something I think we all learned about as we aged. I was appalled at some of the stuff mine got away with.
However we all survived. Thank the Dear Lord for that. Come to think of it I was not an Angle either. LOL Good job. Nancy:)

Thank you Nancy, You got to keep loving them no matter what they do. You are right. We all survived it, and I wasn't an angel either. I'm not sure my parents ever found out everything I got away with. LOL

I don't know if I missed previous posts or you haven't added an addition to these memoirs for a while. Either way, I enjoyed reading this one. I do understand how hard raising a large family is. Nobody's perfect. It sounds pretty normal to me.

Thank you Barbara. I got behind with writing for a while and didn't seem to want to start again. I guess my family was normal but some people give you the impression that all their children turned out perfect. It is probably an allusion. LOL

Nobody has perfect children. I taught for 26 years, believe me. IF they truly believe that, they are fools. I think they just want to pretend.

This is a very interesting work (nonfiction?) and I gather it is part of a much larger work. If that is the reason for the really long paragraphs, then perhaps keep them, due to pacing. If not, you might try breaking them up a bit, for readability and engagement, as long shorter paragraphs help to demarcate action/events.

Some spelling/grammar notes:

She constantly picked fights with him and  attempted to break =>their off their<= friendship.

He didn't mind a long distant **distance** relationship

She was still seeing her friend, Neil *COMMA* and had made a second trip

I sometime **sometimes** kept them while they went out
**too many pronouns is getting confusing. Try: I sometimes babysat the kids when they went out.

Thanks for the read! Sorry I did not give it full marks due to the technical errors, but if you correct them give me a shout.

Great, I gave you another star. Oh, also check the title - you might want to add an apostrophe in there!

Thank you. I did need and apostrophe in the title. I'm glad you saw that.

It's incredible the secrets we keep from many in our families. They hurt us in so many ways, but forgiveness is the key to joy. What a wonderfully written chapter. Best of luck with your writing!

Have a great day, and God bless.

This Biographical Non-Fiction, a chapter in the book Remembering Yesterday, speaks about something got to give, tension is too high in family members, recalling memories of life as if mock telling to author's deceased husband; well said, well done, thanks 4 sharing this, happy reviewing this legible on white background, my dear write-post more, fast, time is precious-limited, I, DR, wrote 114 books on God, Humanity, Truth. You did well with raising your many children including a set of twins. How cute! They are already your kids and they always need help financially and emotional. We are always happy to help.

Well done.

After my three-day stint in the hospital, I'm doing my best to catch up on my reading and reviews this morning. Hoping to get out of here today. I apologize for the quickie cookie-cutter review. Thanks for sharing.
