I couldn't agree with you more! In 8 words or less, you have stated the best answer for the stigma on mental illness I have ever seen!
As you say in your author's notes, mental health matters! We need to end the stigma in our lifetimes! Thank you for putting this on the welcome page so that everybody will at least read this even if they don't review it.

It does indeed and it needs to be talked about a lot more. Mental health has always been talked about in whispers as if it is a cancer or something shameful.. it isn't. A Great entry into the eight word poem contest, good luck!

It seems that it is hard enough to live with one's own afflictions without the added burden of society's jaundiced view of them. Your poem could fit the position many people in minority groups find themselves in. Well worded. A powerful entry to the contest. Good luck with it.

You have presented an excellent message in a short rhyming poem. The picture adds additional interest as it is studied further. Mental health is a serious topic and we often cannot tell when another person is suffering with it because ii is often kept hidden from others.

This is such a moving poem, sending a most important message. It is so true that a mental illness does not tell what the suffering person is really all about. It is important to find that person the right kind of help and to be understanding and compassionate, above all else. Thanks so much for posting this brief but important message. MM

I like the picture, full of words that apply to people "Stained with stigmata" as written in poem. All those words, (hate, unwanted, unloved, worthless, pathetic etc.) truly support your poem.
We passion and love oaths world. Unfortunately there are unwanted people because of their self-centered and selfish behavior. Such people only create troubles for others.
