All great literature must eventually end. This story of Native American generosity and Tribal Beliefs was both educational and a pleasure for the reader. Thank you Liz.

Thank you for caring about this story by writing a lovely review. Are you getting thinks sorted out?

I'll tell you Liz as you are the one person who will understand; No I'm not getting on top of things. I have started having panic attacks and my memory is woeful. Both Raymond and I had to get new doctors and we see him on Mon. I intend having a chat with him. Something has to be done. If you still have the dial up number for the Man Upstairs put in a word for me? All my love Anne

Moving can stir the brain. I read that November is going to be a tulmultuous month for people, then it will turn around for good things to happen. I will send both you & Raymond healing energy on all levels.

So, this is the end of the book, Liz? This was a fitting and loving last chapter with a very touching goodbye to Tommy. I imagine the final paragraph about the masks being required, connects with an earlier chapter. Otherwise, I don't understand its significance.

"Well, we should get going. But, I will warn you, [I'm not sure this paragraph is a continuation of Tommy's dialogue. If it is, you handled the punctuation perfectly. If, instead, it's one of the girls', I would suggest you use a dialogue tag to identify her, and then close out the previous paragraph with a closed quote.]

As Linda took the last twist around a tall hill, she breathed a sigh of relief, creating a raspberry sound [Is a raspberry sound what I think it is? If so, how can she create it out of a sigh?]

Liz almost used the word,'abducted', but caught herself. [If I may suggest, instead of the single quotes, and the commas around abducted (which you really don't need, why not just italicize it. I find it makes it a lot cleaner looking.]

It looks like a wrap, Liz. Are you going further with it to seek publication, or are you going to self-publish. Thank you for letting me play a small part in reviewing some of your chapters.

Jay

Thank you for your involved review. They found out why the area with the shops & garage were all deserted like a ghost town in ch 43 & 52. Tommy was still speaking. I was gifted with a wonderful link with every possible senerio presented in using dialogue. I'd be happy to give you the link. It is invaluable. As far as the raspberry sound. Breath in and out with your lips in a raspberry formation. I'm hoping to get it publicized. I spent thousands on my Be Wee With Bea book that the marketing consultant has moved to another company. He wants to make it up to me by publishing several of my book. We'll see. My next book is going to be about a past life trigger my friend & I had while in Glastonbury England. The monastery, cathredal & tor have violent history in the 7th century. I'm having to do a lot of research, but I did for the Traffic one too.

This was a bet strange even with the trees. You did a good job. Tommy seemed very easy to lose. He was good enough to give them his card. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Thank you for your involved review. This whole story has had many strange incidences throughout. Native American culture has unusual ceremonial artwork. I have seen one of those trees about 1/2 hour from my home. There is a fb page called Prayer Trees that has many pictures of these trees. It is a much longer title but those 2 words will get you there.

It's good to see they got headed home safely and you've come to the end of their story. Will They have further adventures, perhaps on the way home? Best of luck with this.

Thank you for your supportive review. My next one is going to be quite different. It is about a past life experience in Glastonbury England and the Glastonbury Tor. A friend & I actually sensed something about that place when we were there & read the violent history of the monastery there. I've got a lot of research to do. I have about 20 links to review.

This was a great completion to your story of Liz, Linda, Tommy and Chief Lavendar. I found it interesting that Liz noticed the trees which were deliberately tied down and pointing to something. Tommy promised to return with his tribe. They all paid respect. I really enjoyed the ending where Tommy gave them his business cards just in case, they said their goodbyes and gave each other respect. It was so appropriate, Liz and a great goodbye. Very well done and greatly enjoyed.

Thank you for your ever loyal review. Have you ever seen a modified tree? There is one on a mountain near here. A bird watch & hiking place. There are also a couple of facebook pages with them. If you'd like the names I can give them to you.

Switchbacks, I know, Atrocity trees, I have never heard of them. Whether they are real or fiction and created just for this story, it makes them interesting either way, so it doesn't matter much. A good drop in for the story. Good Job.

AWW! YAY! I can't believe you finished the story! Congrats Liz! And HIII! I know I've been away for most of these chapters but I have been trying to catch up and now, at last, the last chapter! It was so much fun to tag along for this story. ;) And that last line you wrote? Don't even get me started, lol. So happy for you.

Lol ...thank you for your great review.

There is a chapter in here that mentions the help hand sign. There was just a case where someone got arrested because the girl used the symbol on Tik Tok. Someone saw it & called the police.

Now the hard work begins for next one. I have to do a lot of historical research. But I did for this one too.

this what I posted on facebook:

"People may wonder how would I know if I were sitting near someone who is in captivity?
You may think the people you are sitting with or near are ordinary people.
However, a person looks directly at you and appears to be giving you a hand signal, pay very close attention.
This was originally developed for Indigenous people, but has become universally used.
The person tucks their thumb into the palm of their hand and covers it with their four fingers. Then raises the four fingers and slowly brings them down repeatedly.
What we would do after that is kind of scary. But we need to act fast.
Yay for this Tik Tok signal

What a great journey you took us on in this book, Liz! You kept my interest throughout and taught me about the serious problem with human trafficking and about some Native American traditions, too! Great job with your book!!

reply by the author on 07-Nov-2021
yes, she was. Her mother had reported her missing. That hand signal should be taught in schools
