First, I think the restrictions and rules for this contest are just absurd. I'm giving you a sixer on this for many reasons. I found myself thinking about this story over an hour later. There's not much on here that is this thought provoking, let alone an hour or so later after you read it. This is very well written and very visual. Definitely supernatural with some humor and horror thrown in. You skated the ridiculous contest rules brilliantly with a nifty, scary story. I'm dying to find out what your final words mean. "let me go." Let you go to run away or let you go to drop into the pit of hell? GREAT THOUGHT PROVOKING ENDING. Loved the humor throughout. A shame more people didn't enter. This deserves a big buck win. Good luck with this excellent write. Lynda

Thank you so much for the outstanding review and sixer, Lynda. The ending actually means that the demon just let him go to fall in the fire. I though about that when I wrote it. I might change the last word to drop or fall, maybe. I would have liked to use a lot more gore but I wasn't allowed. as per the rules. Lol. I dearly appreciate the fantastic review. Yes, I like to do that in my stories, keep them wanting more then throw a major twist in for kicks. Lol.
