Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Dearest Liz, I have been 'out' of writing for sooo long due to moving from one state into another. Then to find there was no power, no this, no that I nearly went mad but now everything is kosher and I'm back online.
The girls finally get the car going again, only now they stop again to look at some strange trees. As usual, dearest friend there is commentary between the three friends. Well written as usual. Love U Anne

A well written chapter, very descriptive. I'm glad you reminded the reader about the ADD, it sure explained things at the end.

notes:

Linda put both {hand} out and shook her head.

- hands

Looking toward Liz, Tommy said, ["]So tell us what's going on in your head.["]

Liz knew this was it. It was the last time they and the wonderful gentleman who had fed them and let them rest upon his aunt's gift to him would be cracking a joke. She wiped away a few tears as she climbed into the passenger's side.'aww so emotional and then it is also full of dry humour and mystery. A brilliant write well done you have a very special talent I loved reading this! love and best wishes Meia xx

Thank you for your appreciative review. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I invite you to read the first 13 chapters in my portfolio about the rescue. Every chapter is suspenseful. There is no need to write a review.

Clearly Liz and Tommy know something about the special trees that Linda doesn't know. As I was sad the adventure might be over, I was happy to read otherwise.
I found the ADD interesting, having raised a daughter that was ADHD and having once been married to a man that was ADD.
Am looking forward to the next chapter :)

Thank you for your involved review. There is just one more chapter. I am sad about it. I don't know if you have read the first 13 chapters. They are pretty nearly the best of the whole book. There is no need for a review of those chapters. Just enjoy them.

What might you have in mind as you continue to write? Poetry, book?

This is a good chapter, Liz, with lots of good feelings, no drama, well at least to the end. What is it about those trees? Will we find out in another chapter? Well done.

There are a few spag: "There was no quiet(,) happening in the other Honda..." - comma not needed there

"It felt good to be behind the wheel again, backed (backing)her car out from its sheltered spot."

"It was the last time they and the wonderful gentleman who had fed them and let them rest upon his aunt's gift to him would, (be) cracking a joke."

So the trees going to be spoken more about in the next chapter? This story is interesting. You did a good job. Thank you for sharing it. Good luck. One thing I did like is how the cher served them.

Thank you for your enthusiastic review. There is one more chapter to go. You will learn about the trees. I invite people to read the first 13 chapters in my portfolio about the rescue. Every chapter is suspenseful. There is no need to write a review. I just want you to treat it like a book you might read to enjoy. ***Spoiler *** Tommy, offers the ladies a place to rest & enjoy some of his cooking. He is on his way to a food festival & there is a traffic jam because of brush fires. The irony is he is the brother of one of the girls who are rescued. Enjoy it if you have the opportunity.

This part moves along nicely and has good action. You also ended on a good cliffhanger since the trees were something significant. When Tommy asks what they are doing, it would be better if you didn't say it was a funny comment, the reader is supposed to realize he's joking with them. keep it moving as you write. Action is always better than a lot of discussion.

This was amazing Liz. It was definitely a tear-jerker. I am so very glad that Liz made Linda catch Tommy's attention to make him stop. Liz and Tommy truly realize what the trees are and it will take a few minutes for Linda to clue in. Very well done and greatly enjoyed.

I like trees. So I'm curious why Liz has everyone stop to look at the trees. I'm sure you will let us know. I hope this means that they will have a little more time with Tommy. Maybe they can get him to open a restaurant in Vermont. ð???

Linda put both hand out (hands)
