Thank you for posting this thought provoking letter to God. I've often wondered if there are animals in heaven. Lord knows I'd love to see my beloved dog there. I don't know that the bible mentions anything about animals, or if it does, I've missed it in my readings. I know that God killed the first animal to clothe Adam and Eve, and the Israelites sacrificed tens of thousands of animals to appease for sin prior to the arrival of Jesus. I hope that we find animals there; they're amusing to watch and a delight to the soul.

Thank you so much for reviewing, and so thoughtfully. Yes, human sin caused the first need for animals to be slaughtered for sacrifices, to prefigure His sacrifice. And the life was in the blood.

A well written contest entry, and a valid question many people would have and would like to know the answer to. I expect people who have pets and think of them as members of the family would especially wonder this. They likely already believe it.
