Thank you Roy for sharing your true story about your friend who had a encounter with God and Son, and it changed her life dramatically.
Yes, I can see that any one would feel the presence of Our Lord

Wow, Roy.
I/ve heard wow is an essential word
for a six, my friend.

You see, I have many doubts about bended knee.
This has always bothered me. It's not false pride.
You won't like this but, need for worship suggests
narcissism. Yea, in our Diety. I get around this because man
has said this. "God" has never said this to me directly.

Nor do I expect it. I certainly never expected the revelation
I got. I thought, "This must be it." The ground is opening or I'll see chariots in the sky. NEVER ever felt such inner peace. Had not a worry, concern, pain, nothing but peace. Almost just cried. Colours were like the first time you ever saw them. Twenty minutes it lasted. I was thinking finally about how was I ever going forward from here.

Sorry to take so much time on me. Wonderful poem. I loved it.
I did have one other episode along this line. I don't want to ruin
it for you, so I'll just tell you the title. A Bum, A Brother.

I only ask these two poems I have mentioned. Although that is plenty,
my brother.

Doug

Is it far back Doug? I would like to have enough time to find it. The trouble with worship, is we all worship something, we humans can?t help ourselves, it could be football, our occupation, money, family, that?s what leads us astray, to be on one?s knees is only if you are certain you want to be, it?s eradication of pride. God is completely without pride, to be naked on a Cross for the love of mankind and being mocked makes Him worthy, and then forgiving them. He just wants relationship. A spiritual encounter on its own means nothing really, I?ve had quite a few, thanks Doug, blessings Roy

Awesome tribute to a saint.... beautifully written. I'm told that I must not confront the offender and that her word is the law whether right or wrong. I struggle because I want to demand answers, but fear that others are right and what is shall be. I pray for guidance, but instead, I hear the voices of others.

Hugs, Carol

Again, your poetry is amazing and the story is equally amazing. To be filled with doubt then to be filled with his spirit is a sign that God has visited and made her his. Very nicely done. Keep spreading the word.

Bless you, Roy. Your author notes were as beautiful and inspiring as your lovely poem. I know what it is to have a special encounter with the Lord, Jesus Christ; you're never the same. Many times over the years, when it seemed nothing was going well in my life, the fact that I belonged to Him was all I needed to stay afloat.

That made me go really goose-pimply, Roy. What an incredible experience, and what an incredible lady. Not many get to have that sort of meeting with God, only the best of the best. It seems she didn't know herself as much as God did, He knew she was His child and made sure she knew it, too. At least everyone one knows for sure that Marie is with God, no doubt about it. What a lovely poem in tribute of this amazing lady, my friend. Well done. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

Excellent writing and a lovely tribute to your friend. The poem flows beautifully. Just one little spot made me pause and perhaps I am not right. Should it be "for many reasons "are" not clear.

Your poem is exceptional in all respects--skillfully written, with attention to correct form; deeply reverent, and powerful in its message about the Lord's grace and love, of which we could never be worthy on our own efforts and character. And YES, once He saves us, He intends for us to "Go forth . . . " (The Great Commission, Matthew)
