Roy,
Don't you think that may be part of the reason God kindly gave us the gift of memories? That way we can bask in the good times when things are less than perfect - or remember moments with loved ones long after they have departed. He is good and kind. He has granted us all we need on this earth. Thanks!

The picture was a gentle reminder of Moses, Roy. I enjoyed your words that made perfect sense as I read them. It made me remember the words of God when he spoke to our ancestors and when he speaks to us. You did very well with this and it was greatly enjoyed. Each line flowed into the next.

I feel 'eternity' is something each of us must have faith in. If we don't, then we miss the understanding of our Heavenly Father's desire for us. Thank you for sharing your poem and thoughts.

Dearest Prophet, I love when you gift us with poems like this. It makes heaven and eternity, Gog the Father and Jesus the son - and most of all the Holy Ghost of the Trinity who will envelop us with loving arms one day.
Gone will be all our ills. I will look for you when I get there...

Time is an interesting thing. I have often thought about how God has no beginning or ending. Time is one of the mysteries of the universe. Your poem is something to ponder and enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

Eternity and infinity are concepts too big to grasp. It is hard to understand the absence of time while we are still human. Your poem is a thoughtful one, and sets the reader pondering about the keeping of special moments - and the relief they can provide during difficult times. Well written.

Another beautiful piece, Roy. What a wonderful thought, to capture the best moments and feelings in a jar. I have been processing homemade grape juice this week, so this imagery was very poignant to me! Sometimes, the concept of eternity frightens me. Yet, I cannot fathom life stopping. Your piece gives me hope. Lovely.

The greater question remains a mystery to me. Your poem, however, speaks to the importance of embracing every blessed moment! Jim Crowd's song "Time in a Bottle" came to mind... I always loved that tune.

OK. I could be wrong. But I am reading this as you being a believer. At first I thought this was speaking about living in the present moment. But at by the end, I was thinking it was referring to eternal life. Another well written poem. Good job.
