Hi Pookietoo,
This is a cautionary tale of mind your harsh words, they rarely accomplish anything good and mostly hurt and make things much worse. Marigolds to the rescue is an endearing tale and sweet . Children especially respond to kindness, don't they? But every now and then, they need a talking to LOL.

This is a very nice family story with lots of detail and description. It sounds as if the family is very loving and thoughtful as well as forgiving. Even the most loving individuals sometimes say hurtful things. The really great part of this is that the mom apologized and the little girl accepted and all was forgiven. Nicely done.

Of course it's much better not to say anything. If one has nothing good say, don't say anything. A wonderful family story with a fine thread of moral lesson binding it. Getting hurt by someone you love can be very painful. Being Hurt or going through a hurtful phase in life is one of the toughest things one can experience in life. I enjoyed the story. Good luck in the contest!
