This is a very complex poem but I do like it. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make but I'll take a shot at it. It seems, in the first stanza, that you're talking about your writing as the legacy you leave behind. We read the poets from days of yore so it would be nice to think we will have someone reading ours. The love we put into our writing will last for as long as someone reads it.

I am no expert on poetry but I like what I like. I like this one. It begins almost as a eulogy and morphs into a memorial. I like the theme of leaving your words as a legacy of love, pulling no punches, your truthful perspective. One does not often think of pleasures as something one endures. I had to really think about that line. I really liked, "I am not an educated man..." Those two lines moved me.
