All is good except for the expression "water damage" because you can use your imagination and writing skills to find a better way to show the harm done, and present a stronger image.

This poem encompasses excellent visual description. The reader can really see the scene and enter into the story. I enjoyed reading this very much and will not hesitate to read more of these poems.

I love the contrast of the results of creatorial malaise, and herons playfully going about life, almost as if nothing had actually happened. An excellent post Gypsy, well done, blessings Roy

Hi Marival, this is certainly a new form to me. I've obviously never heard about it before. I'm not even sure I like that form very much. But it's early days, so I have to familiarise myself to it. I'm sure you've written a lovely poem. Ulla:)))

Are you here in the states? We have the Columbia river just a blink away. I love herons and you have written this so well. Your artwork is so pretty. A very nice presentation all around.

I like this poem's conflicting perspective on the river. It's flooding and doing damage to the human world, yet much of nature is unaffected. I like the picture, too. Nicely done.

I like the title Facing The Sun very much, but I know, that herons cannot jump on logs...let alone ride on logs for sure!
This is an interesting poem with a Japanese style that I am not aware of so I will leave it at that and just say,
Have a beautiful day,
Jesse

What a beautiful and peaceful poem about the Columbia river. I like the surreal atmosphere in the first art work. The lady was dropping a net while heron was about to fly away.
Well done.
