I did immerse myself in your examples of using your five senses!
Love your aabb rhyme...and the different color fonts-- adds to the ambiance.
It f I had that "sixth sense"-- I'd predict this will do well, anonymous!

This makes me happy reading this poem.
I notice the change in font color and it seems to fade a little more in the middle of the piece and then come back with more vivid colors!
Perhaps you might change the lighter-colored fonts to brighter colors? Just a thought.
I love the examples of your sensory inputs from different stimuli including snuggling with a pet or child and hearing a Dear, I love you, darling.

Clever idea using the five senses. Keep working on your meter. Some people think a poem is written in a short period of time. This is usually not the case. This is why some poems struggle with meter.

Well, I really like your light-hearted, up-lifting poem. You used imagery that certainly evoked the senses and your rhyme is good, too. Your rhythm may be off a little, but who cares? All in all, it works and it fits the requirements. Good luck in the contest.
