How sad for Sid and Shirley that they were not able to occupy their dream home and may have left them in debt.
However, the story does have a happy ending as their dashed hopes led to their building being used in the worship of God.
You are right they are probably are smiling.

Thank you! Slight correction, the building was not their home, but was always intended to be a church.

Well done, I remember hearing about an evangelist who held a evangelical rally, and was incredibly disappointed because he'd had one convert, a young boy called David Livingstone, Abraham was given the very place called Canaanland, but he and Isaac and Jacob remained nomads until Joshua, yep, we just do as we're told, I could share a personal story about that very thing, but that will remain another story. Well done, I remember hearing about an evangelist who held a evangelical rally, and was incredibly disappointed because he'd had one convert, a young boy called David Livingstone, Abraham was given the very place called Canaanland, but he and Isaac and Jacob remained nomads until Joshua, yep, we just do as we're told, I could share a personal story about that very thing, but that will remain another story. This is definitely a bit of sad story friend. They built a home they weren't allowed to live in and have since passed away, that is very sad!
They do say that the Lord moves in mysterious ways though.
